Finding space to host A&S events can be hard. These events can always be held in private homes, but finding open community space may be more ideal to attract new members. Check to see if your local group has members who have access to public or semi-public institution space such as:
- Public Libraries
- Grocery Shop Community Rooms
- Community rooms in other stores (some Joann’s Fabric Stores have these)
- Town/Community Recreation Buildings
- School Gyms
- Places of Worship
You can also combine with other local events, such as weekly Fencing/Heavy Fighting Practices, either meeting at the same time as the practice, or perhaps starting a bit earlier than practice to allow members who fight to also attend some of the A&S workshop.
