Nate has recently turned 7 and this is his second year displaying at Crown Art and Science as a Youth.
He was inspired by a picture of a coin horde spilling out of a jug in a picture. He used that image and a book on Roman Pottery with many pictures to make his own jug.
Since last year he has also made a vase, another face cup and some marbles he had hoped to bring to events. He used air dry clay by crayola.
He had wanted gold coins for his display but they were chocolate and too big.
I love the joy in the picture holding your Roman jug with your other creations. I applaud your research into Roman Pottery and look forward to seeing your work in the future. ~Nobildonna Fiore Leonetta Bardi, Sovereign’s Champion of Arts and Sciences
